Americano vs Mexicano: padel formats explained

What is an Americano?
In an Americano, partners rotate every round so you play with and against everyone. Points are counted individually and added up across the night, so the winner is the player with the most points, not a fixed pair. It is the go-to social, mixed-ability format.
What is a Mexicano?
A Mexicano re-pairs players by their current standing each round, typically first with fourth and second with third, so matches stay balanced and the leaderboard shuffles as it goes. It keeps competitive nights close and exciting.
